Mezzo Soprano Hailey McAvoy and Pianist Bethany Pietroniro team up to offer songs by Duparc, Brahms, and Hub Miller.
Hailey McAvoy is sought after for her performances of repertoire both classic and contemporary. Upcoming events for the 2021-22 season include Ravel’s Shéhérezade with The Orchestra Now at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, and an offering of Brahms’s Zwei Gesänge for mezzo-soprano and viola with Byron Schenkman & Friends in Seattle. She returns to Downtown Music to offer songs of Brahms, Duparc and Hub Miller who excelled as both a cowboy and an electrical engineer in his native Oregon before his accomplishments as a composer, conductor and performer brought him to New York where he worked with the Joffrey Ballet, Bette Midler and the Broadway production of Hair.
