The Manhattan Chamber Players make their Downtown Music debut as they offer the astonishingly beautiful Piano Quintet of Robert Schumann. MCP is a chamber music collective of New York-based musicians who also enjoy independent careers as soloists and chamber musicians. Their collaborative work has been praised in Classical Source as “a mellifluous blend of vigorous intensity and dramatic import, performed with enthusiasm, technical facility and impressive balance…a winning performance.”
