We launch the 2020-2021 season with a free, live-streamed concert on Wednesday, September 9 at 12 noon, as Downtown Music presents the Isabella Mendes & Flavio Lira Duo in the all-virtual 2020 JazzFest White Plains with ArtsWestchester and partners. Isabella Mendes is a singer-songwriter, pianist, composer, and educator whose work is rooted in Brazilian jazz and bossa nova. Flavio Lira explores the musical traditions of Brazil, Cuba, and Colombia. Together, the two will present a special all-originals set, during this midday performance.
