The second part of a two-part presentation, presented in partnership with the Stecher and Horowitz Foundation, featuring piano duo Esther and Sun-A Park: Duo Amadeae. Sisters Esther and Sun-A dazzled the judges at the 2016 Chicago International Duo Piano Competition, winning this distinguished event sponsored by the Music Institute of Chicago, and are One Piano, Four-Hands Prize Winners of the New York International Piano Competition. Following the concert, Melvin Stecher and Norman Horowitz join Tim Lewis for a behind-the-scenes look at the New York International Piano Competition and discuss their role as mentors of Esther and Sun-A Park.
